The Ohio Chapter of the NFL Alumni announced Post House, Kroger, Better Image Photography, Courtyard by Marriot Columbus Airport, Diamond Cellar, Standard Parking and SP Plus Signs as marketing partners joining the fundraising efforts in the 2014 NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic benefiting See Kids Dream (SKD). Big Picture Marketunities, the chapter's marketing agency, secured these partnerships on behalf of the July 21st event being held at the Medallion Club in Westerville.
“Partnerships are an essential element of this event and our Caring for Kids mission,” said Jim Karsatos, president of the Ohio Chapter. “Engagement with community businesses who provide products, services and prizes that offset costs maximizing the giving potential for our charity partner.”
As part of the NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic Tour, the Ohio event serves as a qualifier for the annual NFL Alumni Super Bowl of Golf to be held at TPC Sawgrass, Pointe Vedra Beach, Florida in the spring of 2015. The winning team of the 2013 Ohio qualifier won the NFL Alumni Super Bowl of Golf XXXIV held this April in Las Vegas.
“The early involvement of individuals and companies in this event is exciting. We look forward to a fun event with opportunities for all participants to network with a range of Columbus business leaders. See Kids Dream is pleased to be this year’s beneficiary,” said John Gang, See Kids Dream event committee chair. “It has been said that fundraisers are the catalyst of change. We appreciate the community support of the SKD service learning programs, which further develop critical thinking, communication and essential life skills among central Ohio students.”
A limited number of foursomes are still available for this year’s fundraiser. Early registration pricing is available through July 1. Teams registered by this date will receive a NFL Alumni football autographed by NFL Alumni members participating in the event.
