Post House director of marketing, Kimberly Flaherty, had the privilege of serving as a mentor at the 2016 Bizwomen Mentoring Monday event hosted by Columbus Business First. This one-of-a-kind event brought together women in a casual, fast-paced coaching atmosphere.
The event was one of 43 being held by Business Journals all over the country with 8,600 women who were mentored and another 1,700 women mentors.
“Mentors are an invaluable resource that I think every woman in business should seek out. They can help guide you on what to do, what to avoid, and they can help build your confidence along the way. I love that Business First has created this event to empower and strengthen women in our community,” said Kimberly Flaherty of Post House.
The event, held on April 4, 2016 at the Westin in downtown Columbus, Ohio offered the opportunity to choose from 40 mentors who are the most influential women in the business community for one-on-one coaching sessions for seven minute conversations.
Over 200 women participated at the Columbus event and Business First is looking forward to another successful event again in 2017.
